Eligibility Criteria for Apply Fellowship Opportunity for Fulbright Nehru Postdoctoral Research Fellowships 2027-2028
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or D.M. degree awarded within the last four years (between July 15, 2022 and July 14, 2026) and upload the certificate or provisional proof
- Must have at least one publication in a reputed journal and submit a key research paper (max. 30 pages)
- Employed applicants must secure official endorsement from their institution, confirming leave approval for the fellowship duration
- Candidates working on government-funded projects must also obtain endorsement from their affiliating institution
Not Eligible:
- Employees of the Government of India or State Governments, including civil servants (IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, etc.) and ministry staff
Eligible (Exception):
- Researchers and academicians from institutions such as CSIR, ICAR, ICGEB, DRDO, ISRO, ICMR, DBT, DST labs, BARC, IISc, IITs, and other centrally funded universities and research bodies
