• You are a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, national, refugee, or asylee legally permitted to work in the United States.

“What can the global aerospace industry do to better serve communities who currently feel unconnected to and underrepresented in aerospace? Get specific with at least one idea you think is achievable and would make a difference for at least one underserved community.”

The essay should be your own work and will be reviewed by the fellowship’s selection committee.

Step 6: Create a Multimedia Essay

Show your personality and creativity through a format other than a traditional written essay. You could create a:

• Video
• Spoken-word performance

• Animation

6. What aerospace topic, technology, or idea could you give a TED Talk about at a moment’s notice?
7. If you have applied before, how have you changed or grown since your previous application?

Follow the same length, formatting, and file-naming requirements used for the previous essays.

Step 8: Explain Any Previous Aerospace Experience

The fellowship is primarily intended for students who have not yet entered the aerospace workforce.

However, if you already have aerospace experience and believe the fellowship would still significantly benefit your career, explain why in a 250–500 word essay.
