Introduction: Application Invited for Together For LGBTQI+ Equality 2025, The Centre for Civic Education (CCE) is inviting proposals to support projects led by civil society organizations (CSOs) across the Western Balkans. These projects should aim to enhance equality and inclusion of LGBTIQ individuals in both public and private spheres by strengthening the capacities of civil society. Key focus areas include advocacy, raising public awareness, building alliances, and pursuing strategic litigation to eliminate discriminatory laws, policies, and practices against LGBTIQ persons, while also contributing to the development of inclusive policies in the realm of non-discrimination.
This initiative is part of the Together for LGBTQI+ Equality project, implemented by the Centre for Civic Education (CCE/CGO) in collaboration with ERA – LGBTI Equal Rights Association for Western Balkans and Turkey, Queer Montenegro, Queer Center Skopje, Tuzla Open Center, Open Mind Spectrum Albania, and the Center for Social Group Development from Kosovo. The project is funded by the European Union.

Funding Information (Application Invited for Together For LGBTQI+ Equality 2025)
- A total of EUR 300,000 has been earmarked for allocation to CSOs under this call. Funding for individual projects will range between a minimum of EUR 15,000 and a maximum of EUR 30,000.
Eligibility Criteria (Application Invited for Together For LGBTQI+ Equality 2025)
To qualify for a grant, CSOs must meet the following criteria:
- be a legal person;
- be non-profit-making;
- be a civil society organisation;
- be registered in one of the WB countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) at least 12 months before the deadline for submission of project proposals;
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the project.
How to apply?
Applications must be submitted with filled: Annex 1 Application form, Annex 2 Budget proposal and Annex 3 Logical Framework Matrix.Please read carefully detailed Guidelines prior to filling these forms.
A comprehensive capacity-building programme in project management and related issues will be provided to supported CSOs.
