The TELUS Indigenous Communities Fund (ICF) provides flexible, one-time grants of $5,000–$25,000 to Indigenous-led organizations and community initiatives supporting Indigenous Peoples across Canada.

2026 Application Timeline
The ICF reviews applications twice each year. The application portal closes when either the application deadline is reached or the first 200 applications are received, whichever comes first.
Spring: Application portal closed after receiving an incredible response.
Fall: September 10–October 7, 2026, or until the first 200 applicants are received.
Applications are due by midnight in the applicant’s local time on the applicable deadline.
Applicants should apply early. Please allow approximately 12 weeks after the application deadline to receive a response regarding application status.
Important Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for funding:
- Your organization, community group or project must support First Nations, Métis or Inuit Peoples within Canada.
- Your organization must not have received TELUS or Indigenous Communities Fund funding within the previous two years.
- The project must address a meaningful social, health or well-being need.
- The project should demonstrate tangible and measurable community outcomes.
What the Fund Does Not Support
ICF funding cannot be used for:
- For-profit initiatives
- Retroactive funding
- Religious-focused projects or organizations
- Sponsorship requests
- Sole proprietorships or individually owned applicants
- Lobbying activities
- Projects operating outside Canada
- GoFundMe campaigns or individual fundraising initiatives
