Introduction: Apply for Grants for Promoting actions to fight racial discrimination and structural racism 2025, Avocats Sans Frontières (ASF) is now accepting applications for initiatives aimed at combating racial discrimination and structural racism. This call for proposals offers both technical and financial support to civil society organizations working across the European Union to implement tangible actions that address racism, Islamophobia, post-colonial inequalities, hate speech, and racial profiling.
By empowering local civil society to launch or sustain impactful anti-discrimination efforts, the initiative also aims to foster and expand a strong network of organizations dedicated to advancing racial equity and justice across Europe.
Nonprofit Organizations interested in applying are encouraged to carefully review the provided details and submit their applications following the guidelines by 30th April 2025.

Funding ranges from EUR 45,000 to EUR 60,000 per project, for a duration of 18 to 24 months, beginning in September 2025.

Conditions of eligibility (Apply for Grants for promoting actions to fight racial discrimination and structural racism 2025)
- Particularly encouraged are entities run by and/or working for and with people with a migration background, diaspora, racialised people, bipoc, LGBTIQ+, women, young people.
- This call also foresees the possibility of working in partnership with other associations or groups, thus the possibility for coalitions of associations to apply for a single grant.
- Number of applications and grants per applicants/affiliated entities:
- The lead applicant may only submit one application as lead applicant under this call.
- The lead applicant may simultaneously be a co-applicant or affiliated entity at the same time under this call for proposals. The overall maximum budget of which an entity may be a beneficiary may not exceed 60 000 euros.
- A co-applicant/affiliated entity may not be the co-applicant or affiliated entity in more than one application per lot under this call for proposals.
Description (Apply for Grants for promoting actions to fight racial discrimination and structural racism 2025)
The call is open to civil society organisations, grassroots associations, and associations and coalitions of associations working with grassroots associations, groups, movements and collectives working in Belgium, France, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain and Tunisia.
Activities supported can include coalition building, campaigning, provision of legal and administrative support, research and documentation, advocacy, education and awareness-raising, strengthening of internal organisational structures, art.
