Community Fund invites application for iwill Fund 2025 strand 2 UK, This funding is for work that helps young people in England address the issues that matter most to them and their community. We call this youth social action.
We’ll fund work with young people up to 20 years old, or up to 25 if they have additional support needs.
You can apply if you are a funder, and want to use this money to give out funding to others. Or you can apply to run activities directly with young people.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the full details and submit their applications before the specified deadline to seize this grant opportunity.

Funding priorities

We’ll only fund work that will:
- create opportunities for young people to take social action
- help young people get involved, and stay involved as they grow up
- reach young people who have not taken part in regular social action activities before
- give young people a say in the work you do, and in running your organisation
- We’ll also prioritise work that supports young people experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination.
How much funding you can ask for

- You can apply for between £30,000 and £5 million. We have a total of £20 million funding, and expect to fund 15 to 20 organisations.
- You must finish the activities we fund by 31 March 2030.
- You must have match funding for the work we fund. But unlike previous strands of #iwill Fund, there’s not a fixed amount of match funding you need.
Eligibility Criteria

- funder
- not-for-profit company
- company and registered charity
- charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)
- community interest company (CIC)
- school (as long as your project benefits and involves the communities around the school)
- public body (like local authorities, town, parish or community councils)
- community benefit society (registered with the Financial Conduct Authority)
- co-operative society (registered with the Financial Conduct Authority)
Board or committee member requirements
- To apply, your organisation must have at least 2 board or committee members who are not related. If you’re a company, you must have at least 2 directors who are not related.
- We consider people to be related if they are:
- married or in a civil partnership
- in a long-term relationship
- related by blood or through a partner
- living at the same address
