The Earth Journalism Network (EJN), in partnership with NABU through the SYMBIOTIC Project, is offering reporting grants to journalists and social media content creators in Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, and Madagascar. Background
Biodiversity—the variety of life on Earth—is essential for maintaining healthy ecosystems and supporting human well-being. It provides vital services such as clean water, food production, climate regulation, pollination, and cultural benefits. However, biodiversity is declining rapidly due to habitat destruction, deforestation, pollution, invasive species, climate change, and unsustainable development practices.
