Introduction: Grants by Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund UK 2025,
The Community Foundation Northern Ireland is now accepting applications from eligible organizations for participation in the Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund Program. This program aims to support initiatives that positively impact the local population. Interested organizations must submit their applications by 10th January 2025.
The program provides funding for local community projects that are thoughtfully designed and effectively managed to directly benefit residents living within a 6km radius of the Wind Farms. These grants can support a wide range of activities, including but not limited to community development, environmental conservation, educational initiatives, and recreation
Applicants must demonstrate how their proposed projects align with the program’s objectives and deliver meaningful benefits to the community. Projects should emphasize sustainability, inclusivity, and long-term impact.

The fund will support projects addressing issues within the following theme areas:
- Energy efficiency and sustainability
- Social, cultural or sporting benefit for the local community
- Educational issues with a sustainability angle
- Environmental benefit or economic benefit
Funding Information (Grants by Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund UK 2025)
- Grants up to £5,000
- In very exceptional circumstances the panel may decide to award grants up to £10,000.
Eligibility Criteria (Grants by Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund UK 2025)
- Constituted voluntary organisations and community groups and;
- Local youth groups can apply.
Ineligibility Criteria (Grants by Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund UK 2025)
The Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund will not support:
- Individuals
- Funding for retrospective project costs
- Projects or activity that promote or advance religion
- Promotion of religious or political activity, including any flags and emblems that may deem to be associated with such
- Organisations whose purposes include the advancement of religion.
