Eligibility Criteria for Submission Open for HCLTech Grant 2026 Empowering NGOs for Rural Transformation India
The grant is open to legally registered non-profit organizations operating in India, including:
- Registered Societies
- Public Charitable Trusts
- Section 8 Companies
Essential Requirements
Applicant organizations must:
- Be legally registered and operational in India.
- Hold a valid 80G certificate.
- Possess valid 12A or 10(23C) registration.
- Have an active CSR-1 registration.
- Demonstrate a minimum of five years of operational experience as of 31 March 2026.
- Show an average annual expenditure of at least ₹50 Lakhs during FY 2022–23, FY 2023–24, and FY 2024–25.
Compliance Conditions
Organizations should maintain:
- Audited financial statements and reports.
- Compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Valid tax registrations and filings.
- Adherence to employee welfare and labour regulations.
- FCRA compliance, wherever applicable.
Disqualification Conditions
Organizations and governing board members should not have:

- Any history of blacklisting.
- Political affiliations or political activities.
- Religious affiliations influencing programme implementation.
