Title: Manager – Programme Implementation
No. of positions – 1
Location: Bhubaneshwar, Odisha
The Manager – Programme Implementation will be based out of Bhubaneshwar, Odisha and will work with Strategic Partnership and Scale up (SPSU) vertical. The role involves coordinating SPSU program implementation in Odisha, ensuring timely implementation and spending of budgets, coordinating with government stakeholders and ensuring effective reporting and documentation. The person will report to State Lead-Odisha.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination
- Support State Lead in planning and high-quality execution of key programme priorities as per the PIP, Program Strengthening Plan, MEL plan including the planned activities for BT positioning at the state
- Support effective and optimal budget utilisation and resource management
- Undertake drafting of program plans and budgeting exercises as and when required
- Undertake consultant management and ensure timely and quality deliverables
Reporting & Documentation
- Ensure documentation and reporting of the programs as and when needed
- Support the team for timely and quality reporting of all internal and external periodic reports
- Prepare program and finance updates for all internal planning and review meetings
- Support MIS and documentation team for data analysis
Networking & Coordination
- Liaising with stakeholders including district and school level functionaries to ensure effective implementation of the program
- Support in coordination with the CSOs and other eco-system stakeholders
- Coordinate with the team members at state and district level
Monitoring & Supervision
- Support State Lead in developing KRA/KPI of the team and to track those
- Undertake program monitoring visits to strengthen the program
- Coordinate with the respective team members for undertaking evaluation and studies
- Support and track effective implementation of the process monitoring
Operation Support track
- Support State Accounts/ Admin person for all admin and finance related requirements
- Coordinate with team members for timely compliance
- Work closely with the State Lead to ensure periodic reporting and to mitigate risks
Other responsibilities in collaboration with the State Lead:
- Undertake any other responsibility as and when required by the organization
Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:
- 8-10 years of experience in program management
- Proven ability to work in teams
- Ability for strategic thinking, innovation, thinking across spectrums to ensure implementation, engage with key stakeholders and operate in challenging environments
- Demonstrated report, proposal and document writing experience
- Proven ability to manage program budget
- Ability to demonstrate big picture thinking and mission driven
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ease of working with Excel, Word and Power point
