NGO Job in Delhi for MIS Officer Apply by 10 September 2026 About the Role



Ujjawal Trust is looking for a motivated and dedicated MIS Officer to manage programme data, student records, reporting, and digital systems at our learning centre. The candidate should have strong computer and data-management skills, along with the ability to provide secondary academic support in Science and Mathematics to children aged 6–18 years when required.

MIS, Data Management & Reporting – Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Management Information System (MIS) and programme databases.
  • Collect, organise, verify, and regularly update student and programme-related data.
  • Maintain student enrolment, attendance, assessment, and progress records.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
  • Develop and maintain Excel/Google Sheets trackers and dashboards.
  • Analyse programme data and support the team in tracking learning outcomes and overall programme progress.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate with programme staff to collect and compile required information and documentation.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, proposals, and other programme documents.
  • Maintain digital files, databases, and documentation in an organised manner.
  • Use MS Office, Google Workspace, online tools, and other digital platforms effectively.
  • Support the organisation in improving data systems, digital processes, and technology-based monitoring.

Academic & Technology Support – Secondary Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support in Mathematics and Science to children across different age and learning levels, as required.
  • Support children who need remedial or additional academic assistance.
  • Support the use of computers, presentations, educational apps, and digital learning tools.
  • Help children develop basic computer and digital literacy skills.
  • Coordinate with the programme team for academic planning and student progress tracking.
  • Participate in centre events, workshops, community activities, and other organisational programmes.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, child-friendly, and positive learning environment.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Applications, IT, Data Management, Statistics, Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS Office, Google Workspace, data entry, and data management.
  • Experience in preparing reports, trackers, databases, and dashboards will be an advantage.
  • Good analytical, organisational, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Mathematics and Science up to school level will be preferred.
  • Comfortable using technology and digital tools in an educational environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Prior experience in the development or education sector will be an advantage.
  • Passionate about data-driven programme management and working with children and communities.

  

Salary

23,000–25,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
