GPSVS has been working on Education, Health, WASH, Child protection and development, Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Resilience, Migration & Skill Development. The organisation primarily working for Women, Children & Adolescents & youths. Its working area extends to different districts of Bihar like Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supaul, Purnia, Saharsha, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur and other districts. It has strong network in other districts as well.

Job Description: Cluster Coordinator

Eligibility criteria for NGO Job in Purnia Bihar for Cluster Coordinator Apply By 21 January 2026

1. i) Must be in the age group 30-45 years.
2. ii) Master’s degree in Social Work/Social Studies.

iii) Minimum 3-4 years of experience of leading a team on Nutrition/Health/Sanitation related programmes at block/district level.

1. iv) Must be willing to serve the community with work experience in community-based programmes, preferably in the sector of health and nutrition.
2. v) Experience of planning and executing district to village level operations with Government/ Donor/NGO supported programmes with minimum supervision.
3. vi) Must be having prior experience of coordinating with district administration, civil society organisations and participated actively in district level committees and other forums.

vii) Ability to engage with different stakeholders at the district level to coordinate, manage and report and address issues of the project.

viii) Prior experience of using online MIS Systems and its analytics in programme implementation

1. ix) Must have working knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping and MS Office.
2. x) Must have good communication skill, especially in local dialects.

Job Responsibility for NGO Job in Purnia Bihar for Cluster Coordinator Apply By 21 January 2026

The CC will be overall in charge of the crèche implementation across the block and support the Creche Supervisors in his/her activities.

Supportive supervision

1. i) To provide supportive supervision of crèche supervisors and crèche workers.
2. ii) To undertake creche monitoring visits every month

Tracking of issues and children

1. i) To track children who are ill and wasted
2. ii) To track growth faltering in children

iii) To track open issues as identified by the creche supervisor and Creche Caregivers.

Anthropometry and calibration

1. i) To assist the creche supervisor to collect household and anthropometric data before opening of creche
2. ii) To conduct dip stick quality checking of Anthropometric measurements as per the creche monitoring format.

iii) To be a part of the calibration of anthropometric measurements to be done on a quarterly basis

Capacity building

1. i) To support the capacity building of Creche Caregivers and have regular follow up.
2. ii) Conduct training needs assessment

iii) Organize periodic refresher trainings on a need basis.

Coordination with key stakeholders

1. i) To ensure regular coordination with block/district functionaries, PRI members and frontline workers
2. ii) To facilitate availability and access to THR and other services provided during VHND, immunization etc.

Grievance handling and Issue Tracking

i)To ensure that all crèche regulations are complied with, and discipline and decorum is maintained in all crèches.

1. ii) To ensure that the safety and security protocols are being followed and take adequate steps to address any shortcomings.

iii) To report and investigate the cases under the provision of The POCSO Act, 2012 in coordination with the appropriate district-level officials.

1. iv) To escalate certain issues for support from higher level.

Logistics Support

1. i) To approve the requisition of rations through proper checking and verification

ii)To ensure proper and timely availability of logistics and supplies.

Review meetings

i)To conduct monthly review meetings of the creche supervisors

ii)To participate in the fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly meetings organised by the implementing partners.

Reporting and Documentation

1. i) To prepare all reports and documents as per the requirement of the project.
