The District Coordinator is responsible for effective implementation and supervision of the Cervical and Breast Cancer Prevention Program at the district level. The role acts as a critical link between the Program Manager and block-level teams, ensuring that targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and stakeholders are actively engaged.

District-Level Implementation
? Plan, coordinate, and oversee all program activities across blocks within the assigned district.
? Ensure timely achievement of screening, referral, and awareness targets.
Supervision & Capacity Building for NGO Job in Shravasti Uttar Pradesh for District Coordinator Apply By 17 March 2026
? Provide regular supportive supervision to Block Program Coordinators through field visits and review meetings.
? Conduct trainings and refresher sessions on program guidelines, data reporting, and community engagement.
Coordination & Liaison
? Serve as the primary liaison with district health officials (CMO, DPM, DNO), partner organizations, and facilities.
? Support alignment of program activities with district health plans and NCD programs.
Monitoring, Reporting & Data Quality
? Review block-level data for accuracy and completeness; consolidate and submit district reports.
? Track performance indicators and flag implementation gaps for corrective action.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
? Build relationships with local authorities, civil society organizations, and private providers to strengthen program support.
Problem Solving & Quality Assurance
? Identify operational challenges faced by field teams and provide timely solutions.
? Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of beneficiary data.
Other Activities :
- Conduct district-level approval meetings with CMO and DPO-ICDS.
? Finalize district roles, responsibilities, and support mechanisms.
? Issue official directives from CMO/DPO-ICDS to blocks and facilities for execution.
- Conduct training of trainers for district medical and program staff
- Sensitize block level officials on screening importance and protocols
Qualifications & Experience for NGO Job in Shravasti Uttar Pradesh for District Coordinator Apply By 17 March 2026
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, Rural Development, or related field.
? Desirable: Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Management, or Social Work.
? Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in public health programs, preferably in cervical and breast cancer prevention or NCDs.
? Skills: Team supervision, data analysis, reporting, strong communication, and coordination skills.
Experience of 5 years in cervical and breast cancer prevention field preferred
