Open Call for Resident Directed Grants (ReDi Grants) program 2026 Canada by Columbia Basin Trust, Resident Directed Grants (ReDi Grants) are an initiative of the Columbia Basin Trust (the Trust), designed and funded by the Trust and delivered through local governments and First Nations acting as delivery partners.
Each year, program funds are allocated to delivery partners, enabling them to select and support projects in alignment with the overarching guidelines set by the Trust. A key feature of the program is the inclusion of resident input in the project selection process, ensuring that funding decisions reflect community priorities and are driven by local voices.
Due to Valemount’s proximity to the Kinbasket Reservoir and its position as the northernmost community within the Columbia Basin, the community is eligible to offer and administer the ReDi Grants program.

- A total of $400,158 has been allocated to support Valemount-based initiatives under the 2026 Resident Directed (ReDi) Grant program.
- Applications for the 2026 funding cycle must be submitted by February 12, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
