- Biomedical devices and wearable technologies
- Predictive and personalized healthcare solutions
- Neurological and mental health technologies
- Communicable and non-communicable diseases (CDs and NCDs)
- Medical imaging analysis
- Evidence-based / data-driven clinical decision support systems
Duration, Funding, and Submission

- Project duration: Up to 1 year
- Funding support: project will be funded up to ₹10 lakhs, with non-recurring
expenses capped at 10% of the total budget.”
- Application deadline: October 10th -October 31st2025
- Shortlisted projects will go through a presentation (pitching) round before final
decisions are made. Expected start date is Jan 2026.
- Projects demonstrating industry or hospital collaboration and a clear
commercialization pathway may be considered for enhanced follow-on funding.
Expected Outcomes

- Advancement of technologies from TRL 3 to TRL 7, resulting in system prototypes

- While publications may result, the primary outcome must be a deployable prototype or product with commercialization potential
- Successful projects may be showcased to investors, industry partners, and healthcare providers through IHub-Data, to accelerate adoption and scale-up
Partnerships and Adoption Pathways

Applicants are strongly encouraged to establish collaborations with hospitals, healthcare providers, startups, or industry partners to ensure clinical validation, regulatory alignment, and smoother adoption. Applicants are also encouraged to develop solutions leveraging the healthcare datasets created at IHub-Data and hosted at the data foundation (india-data.org). Proposals that demonstrate a clear commercialization of roadmap and industry engagement will be given preference.
