The Centre for Behavioural Sciences, set up under partnership of IIHMR University and UNICEF Rajasthan, is a pioneer hub for behavioural science research and practical applications. It works hand-in-hand with government and diverse stakeholders to shape behavioral insights and evidence-based policies and implementation strategies for promoting sustainable and inclusive development in Rajasthan. By collaborating with CSOs, CSR initiatives, corporations, academic institutions, and research organizations, the Centre for Behavioural Sciences activates holistic strategies to address intricate societal challenges, nurturing lasting advancements throughout the region.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the pioneering Centre for Behavioural Sciences in Rajasthan. The BI Associate will help CBS team in generating high-quality evidence to provide crucial contextual insights and design effective interventionsto address policy /program challenges.
Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:
Assist in conducting behavioral research, collating contextual and behavioural insights, and translating behavioural research into testable interventions, communication strategies, nudges, or system redesigns
Co-facilitate design workshops with end users, frontline workers, and stakeholders to ideate and prototype behavioural interventions
Co-develop and design research methodologies and research plans ensuring adherence to research and ethical standards.
Plan and execute field data collection and oversee the monitoring and evaluation of interventions at ground level.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the CBS Lead.
Stakeholder Engagement and Capacity Enhancement:
Work closely with partner organisations to ensure all key stakeholders are regularly briefed on progress and have clarity on the next steps.
Foster collaboration and buy-in of various stakeholders on different behavioural science initiatives.
Assist in design and delivery of training programs to enhance understanding and application of behavioural insights among various stakeholders.
Communication and Documentation:

Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other communication materials for funders, government partners, academia, etc.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned, contributing to the documentation and dissemination of best practices and success stories.
Prior experience in creation of appealing visuals, graphs, and audio visual content or a degree/ diploma in design will be an advantage.
Qualifications and Requirements:

You should have approximately this level of expertise, regardless of where it comes from:
Master’s degree in Behavioural Sciences or allied social sciences fields including Psychology, Sociology, Economics, etc.
2+ years of work experience in the development sector or research, especially primary research
Familiarity with the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methods, and data analysis.
Familiarity with use of statistical softwares such as SPSS, STATA, R, etc. for quantitative analysis, and Nvivo/ Atlas.ti for qualitative analysis.
Experience of RCTs and quasi-experimental designs would be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of government systems, at the State and district level.
Currently based, or willing to relocate to Jaipur (Essential)
Fluency in Hindi and English (Essential); knowledge of local language/ dialects of Rajasthan will be an advantage
